This is one book in a series about a Quaker minister returning to the small town of his childhood, Harmony. The books is simply, but sweetly written. It is full of wonderful characters and situations. It reminds me of Jan Karon's Mitford series. And the format is more like short stories within a book.

This book had me snickering many times! I enjoy how Philip Gulley describes the sometimes mundane things in life and his relationships with the fellow townspeople and church goers. How he puts up with a couple of his "flock" is beyond me!

Very good book... A quick read

This is the second book in the Harmony series, while it is a comfortable read it is not amusing as first one, but it is well worth the time to read it, and touchs on some more serious issues, such as faith and illness without being"preachy".

Second book in the series. The main point is finding faith after it has been lost.
