4 Stars: It would have been five stars but for a few (small) plot holes that bugged me at the end and the utter lack of "Quotation marks", which doesn't seem like that big a deal unless the book is mostly driven by dialogue, like this one, and you're left wondering, "Wait, is he thinking that or saying that?" Or did the girl say that?

Allow me to illustrate:
It doesn't seem like that big a deal. Unless the book is driven by dialogue. Like this one.
And you're left wondering.
Wait. Is he thinking that? Or saying that?
Or did the girl say that?

However, nit-picking aside, the good guy is bad, the bad guys are really really bad and the supporting characters are creative.
