I enjoy Cotterill's "Dr. Siri" mysteries. There is just enough humor in them to keep your head straight while you're trying to understand the convoluted directions the plot is taking. I am somewhat less enthusiastic about the supernatural aspects of Siri's inner shaman, and this book took the supernatural to a entirely new level which I could have done without. And, as always, in the end Cotterill slaps you with an ending you couldn't have anticipated, no matter how many mysteries you've read.

Still, after this one, I think I'll take a break from Dr. Siri for awhile.
