I really enjoyed this book, it detailed quite a bit about the settlers of the old west and also family conflict, sad at times and heart warming at other, informative and colorful, and the ending was quite unexpected, but understandable considering the character involved.
a very good family western novel. revolves around one of three brothers as he grows from childhood into adulthood.
This is a Western I picked up at the Dollar store while waiting for my ordered books. I am not big on Westerns but this was vividly written and very exciting from start to finish.
