I have read just about every V.C. Andrews book written and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
This is a good book for a junior high aged girl. I liked it at that age, although it is purely for entertainment; there are no deep messages. I recommend reading it on a lazy weekend, when you're sick of watching t.v.
