"Native Martha's Vineyard resident Victoria Trumbull adds "serious playwright" to her list of accomplishments when she pens the local summer stock's adaption of Frankenstein Unbound. With actors, even locals, comes backstabbing, bad will and worse, equity theater. But murder? When a eight year old playing the part of Frankenstein's brother disappears, the island is on full alert.
During the search, the woman playing Frankenstein's housekeeper is found dead and the cast is in a panic. Many are quitting the production, convinced there's a copycat killer reenacting Mary Skelly's plot with lethal accuracy. Still, the show must go on...and a murderer must be caught. Victoria, shrewd and insightful as always, redies for her dramatic scene with a killer."

Another great cozy mystery involving 92 year old native of Marthas Vineyard, Victoria Turnbull (a no-nonsense character with backbone, spunk and tenacity). It is always such fun to read the books in this series.
