Pretty standard paranormal romance. Decently written but not exceptional. Disappointing if you've read the author's previous books.

Supernatural mixed with suspense and adventurism. A whole society or werwolves, vampires, shape shifters and keepers, living among normal society unnoticed with their own civilized subculture? It's intriguing.. The lead characters were believeable and true to the theme of the series. This story was well developed at a good pace. I loved the feel of New Orleans this book contained. The way these "shifters" handled their business and the way they resolved their "problem" was true to their ways.
