I'm not a big fan of self-help books, but this one is quite good.

We have all heard to focus on the family and give time to family, but it was this book that made me realize the value of family. It is not just people in close proximity--the care we show for one another builds us up. We have that power! This book draws on stories of families in need of each other and how they strengthen each other. I found the impetus in reading this to nurture my family, to give them more. I hadn't expected much, but was impressed: most especially to read about some of the damage bad therapy has done. This book delivered a lot and has shown me the value I have--and the value of those closest to me.
