Love this books
This is a delightful little mystery..my first of this author's but not my last. It's fast paced and fun. ANd what better background than Sicily...makes me want to return.

This is another of those "foreign" mysteries, a police procedural set in Italy. Their police system is set up so differently than ours is, that it takes a good half of the book to absorb all those differences and really get into the mystery itself. It's also originally written in Italian and in my opinion, the translation is just a bit awkward. However, I do enjoy expanding my horizons and accepting this book for what it is, I have to say I enjoyed it and the main character and I have the second in the series here to read. :)
The 1st in the series, which gets better with each book. Great Sicilian atmosphere, very likable detective.
Didn't like it
