A psychological thriller about race, family and power of emotion. Set in the London area of the 1970's and 1980's about a dead body found in the street of a neighborhood and lack of official resolution of this death. Well written! Uses a narrator supplemented with 'documents' like letters and official reports. There are descriptions of violence to cats and people that graphic, but contribute to the plot and character development. A good example of this author's talent.
This book was dreadful. I wasted my time and read the whole thing thru, thinking this has to get better. It didn't. Boring is the kindest word to descrie it.
