Chapter 1 - insufficient research. The book says that no one can tell the difference between human and animal blood. This is in 1898. But in 1892 experts determined that the hatchet in the 1892 trial of Lizzie Borden did not contain human blood. Chapter 3 - incredulity. A guy who 2 days ago had major surgery to remove a bullet from his abdomen has sex in his hospital bed. I could read no further.
