A great book for older children and adolescents, especially girls. When with historical accuracy about World War Two era. A young girl must live with her aunt in Maine. While there she makes friends with a couple of kids her own age. A mystery develops when it becomes apparent that somebody in the town must be spying for Germany. The story is well-developed with mystery as well as a good dose of adolescent interest in friendship and romance.
