*** They sought the path to power in a world of blood and ice...
The spirit of our First American ancestors comes vividly to life in a magnificent new novel from William Sarabande, whose masterful portrayals of our continent in prehistoric times have made his books national bestsellers.

The 8th book in the First Americans Saga. Excellent!
Our young Shaman and his wife are finally reunited and at the end walk off into the wilderness with the little elephant to establish a new society, in the same manner as First Man and First Woman separated from their family when those members decided to go to the North and South, wanting to be separated. The whole story is a continual adventure, and it is never certain that the two young are going to be reunited. But, this is not a book to be started as the first volume in the series - it is really a continuing story that must be enjoyed from the first novel in order to understand all the relationships. A really fascinating, hard-to-put-down book. I highly recommend it and the entire series.
