May and Gabriel have more issues than Aisling and Drake! This series is studded with dilemmas - Baltic and his claim on the Black Dragons; magoth and his claim on May; Cyrene and her claim on Kostya; Aisling's pregnancy; Fiat vs Chuen Ren for the Red dragons; and Dr. Kostich sudden appearance to arrest May for alleged crimes. A veritable circus of dragons, mages, demons and mates. I found it rather tedious in the middle with so much going on and no resolution in sight. Also seemed to be a few repeats of incidents (like another female getting full demon powers). At times it seemed like I was reading Aisling's adventures again.

While I enjoyed this book, I think the dragon storyline has really run out of steam. They are starting feel like the same story told slightly differently each time.

Another winner for Macalister. Thousands of things going on and an update on Aisling too~! As always I cannot wait until the next comes out. I would say more but I don't want to spoil it. If this is your first book, you can follow what is going on, but I would really recommend reading the others.

As with the other Katie MacAlister books that I have read - it was another great installment. The story had just enough of all the elements to make it a fast paced read - action, sex, intrigue - and it moved the book story as well as the over all story forward. I would recommend reading it and can't wait for the next one!
