Nice, light read! The ghosts are an added bonus.
Lots of sexy paranormal fun!

Feed Bag!!! ACK!
My grocer on the corner has more alluring qualities with his talks of luscious mouth watering plump tomatoes than Christian Dante aka vampire possesses in this sex titled sequel in the Dark Ones series. Macalister is really writing fiction here when she expects a 900 yr old vampire to change is ways for a testosterone woman who wears granny panties.
While it held an intriguing story of a Summoner of Ghosts batting against a threesome backed up with demonic power holding another Dark One captive, 280 pages worth of annoying characters and disappointing sex scenes later, I finally felt really interested in the plot. Only to be disappointed again with one of my favorite characters, Ralphael, knocked unconscious and used as a feed bag to revitalized another vampire. Once again the comic relief from Macalister in this book leads me to disappointment.
Sometimes MacAllister is unexpectedly funny, which is why I like to read some of her books. It's when she goes into new magical territory that I enjoy her stories, this one was really not much new... and I really don't get that the guy/dark one is haunted for hundreds of years until he find his beloved, CORNEY-->> come on, meanwhile he's having sex every night with one woman after another.
Of all Katie MacAlister's Dark Ones books, this one is my favorite.
I love this whole series. I think Katie MacAlister is a great writer and would highly recommend these books.
Good book. Has a twist to the normal vampire story. Great details, while a little odd still a decent story. Good book for a rainy day.
I enjoy this author a whole lot which is why I didnot realized I had already read this book. I like the story with a touch of sexual play from the characters.
Very good!! The first one was a little better with details, but very good!!
