I agree with the other reviews that Satan's character was missed. He was so much fun in the other books! But it was a nice light read. This is a book that you can still follow completely when you can't devote your whole attention to it, ie. watching the kids play, in between customers at work, etc.
- I missed the 'classy Satan' in this book along with Iris and some of the other characters. Theresa had a bit part and Dani and even smaller part yet, but still...fun, fun, fun series! =) Enjoy!

I devoured the first three books in this series, but had a very hard time getting into this (the 4th installment). I did not connect with either of the lead characters, and sorely missed the comedic presence of Satan -- he has a few scene-stealing moments, but the plotline he carried throughthe first three books which gave him his most brilliant comedic moments was practically absent in this one. I am not sure I will continue with this series, but do highly recommend books 1-3!

This book was okay. It held my attention well enough to read to the end, but not enough for me to rush out and get the others in the series.
good book, not the best in the series though

This is a disappointing Rowe book. If you don't read it you haven't missed anything.
The first page drops you into a story that has started without you. There is no gentle reminding of who the characters are. There is a confusing/disjointed sentence thrown in every once in awhile to try to help you remember. I don't have an instant recall of the last book so it was confusing.
The writing was not to SR's previous level. The storyline was very superficial and really didn't suck you in with characters you could care about. The main characters, Paige and Jed, had others around only to solve the issue at hand with no real involvement. In previous books the secondary characters were as fun as the main ones.
I almost think the book was put out before it was totally revised and corrected. I don't often say a book isn't worth it- but this one isn't.

I really liked this book too! But along with the other readers I miss Satan's quirkyness and humor.

LIked it,was my first by ths author.
It was a fun, quick read. Satan, without Iris, just doesn't do it for me though. I miss his charming self.
I have to agree that this wasn't the best Rowe book writing wise. It was disjointed at some points and didn't flow as smoothly. Also there were a few editing issues where someone's name will change in the middle of the scene. Also the kissing scenes between Jed and Paige were somewhat redundant.
But it was still cool to read. I wouldn't buy this book or anything but it was worth the read if you can borrow it somewhere.
