I enjoyed this book. Ms. Golden is a skilled writer, but her novel is very light-weight, offering no more depth than an average Voyager episode. Also, the story isn't about Seven, so the title is misleading; the focus is on a group of refugees from a planet destroyed by the Borg. While Trek fans looking for a quick read, such as a beach book or a novel to take to the airport to pass the time while waiting for a flight, will not be disappointed, those seeking more might want to pass on it.
