A coming of age story. A story of friendship. A story of loss and grief. All of these come together in Setting Free the Kites by Alex George. The memorable writing places me in the heart of Haverford, Maine. In fact, I love the storytelling in this book more more than the actual story. Some twists and connections in the plot leave me wondering, but the storytelling weaves everything together in a way that keep me reading.
