This book goes deep into the ups and downs of the world of domestic violence. It is as if the author really knows what it is like to live like that. Very well written! Based in Washington state.

This is an intense novel about an abused wife and how she deals with the abuse. It is a good novel, but the ending left me unsatisified.

This is the best novel I have ever read that deals with spousal abuse in a realistic way. Some women don't even realize they are in an abusive relationship, thinking I started it, or it must be my fault he is angry. This book really shows the feelings and how the abuse creeps up on a person. I stronly urge everyone to read this. It is a great "story" that tells the real truths behind a troubled marriage.
