This is the third of a series but read perfectly well as a stand-alone. The 90-year-old amateur sleuth reminds one of an outspoken Miss Marple as she surreptitiously investigates the death of the disliked, gold-digging wife of one of the town's leading -- and wealthiest -- citizens. Those who enjoy "cozies" should enjoy this!
