If the only exposure you've had to these stories was in your high school Brit Lit class, you should really take another look as an adult. Seriously, my teacher never told us all the dirty references or the violence shown in a couple of the tales. We were too busy trying to decipher the language to see all the bawdy humor and sexual metaphors. What a shame. I find that as an English teacher now, telling my students to look for dirty jokes makes reading "the classics" all the more fun!
This isn't an exhaustive collection of the Tales, and there are very few notes, but it's a nice little edition of "the greatest hits".
