What a wonderful story. A teenage boy befriends an elderly blind woman and they acquire additional friends along the way while looking for a man named Luis Velez who has gone missing from the elderly woman's life. The characters are so well drawn. It's a quiet story but heart warming in many ways and heart wrenching in others. Well worth the read!

I loved meeting both of the main characters in this story. This book has moments of heartbreak and moments of redemption. The character development and plot development are both very strong. The emotional impact is high. I enjoyed this one very much and have now recommended it to my friends.

Excellent as these author's books always are. Wish someone good would make a movie out of this.
