was a little disappointed when I saw on the inside cover that this was classified as "romantic suspense" because I love suspense but am not crazy about romance novels. But I decided to soldier on and read it anyway.
WOW, am I glad I did! There was some romance (actually, just some "hot" {hotness is in the eye of the reader...} sex scenes) and it was a little hokey, but it didn't detract too much from the overall story. The mystery part of the story kept me guessing all the way to the end. I had part of the solution, but was pleasantly surprised by the part that I couldn't guess.
This book is a quick and easy read and, if you're like me, once you get started you will have to keep going until you reach the last page!

When I was given this book, I thought it was going to be just another formulaic romance with a touch of paranormal. And it was, a bit . . . But it is a lot more than that. It's densely plotted, with unexpected twisty turns. Very well written.
From back cover:
For paramedic Dia Courvant, each day brings the possibility of facing blood and death. But nothing matched the horror of the day she was dispatched to the scene of a terrible car accident and rescued the sole survivor-only to find her own husband dead in the wreckage. Now, four years later, a series of deadly car crashes has brought handsome detective Brig Hafferty into Dia's life. She's drawn to Brig, but can she trust him enough to tell him of the terror that stalks her? For Dia has received a message warning her of danger and death-a message that seems to have been sent to her from beyond the grave.

Dia Courvant is a paramedic who is receiving death threats- but from whom? My first book by this author. A great romantic suspense book!
Florida cop Brig Hafferty is investigating a series of bomb related traffic accidents when he stumbles upon paramedic Dia Courvant. He is instantly smitten and vows to follow up with her regarding this accident. When Dia calls him about a stalker, Brig responds immediately and basically moves in until the stalker is caught. Of course, this doesn't faze the stalker and nasty incidents still occur. The trick is figuring out who he is and how he is doing what he's doing. When the final curtain is ripped away and the stalker is revealed, it is definitely not who you'd expect.
This is a great mystery. Whenever I thought I'd figured it out, the author offered up another clue which threw the investigation in a different direction. Great use of misdirection and false clues. This is a book that truly keeps you on the edge of your seat. The danger level alone is enough to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Not to mention the ghost.....

When nightmares come alive .... great book!
I beleive that Holly Lisle is captivating and funny in all of her books.
I love this author and her books. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and you actually have trouble guessing who it is. With most thrillers, it becomes obvious to the reader who the villian is, not with this book though. An excellent read.
Like the writing style. Good read!
Paramedic is helped by her dead husband to solve who is bombing the freeways.
I read this book in on a cool winter afternoon. The suspense is wonderful, I ordered as many of Holly Lisle's books as I could after reading I SEE YOU. Right now my copy is being passed among my friends and they all agree Lisle is a great romance suspense author and we're all looking forward to more books by her.
GREAT READ,COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN.
This was a great suspensful book. The supernatural that plays in it adds a lot to the mystery.

Over all good story. Strong main characters (you get the H and h's POV's). Pretty even with the suspense and romance. A bit paranormal thrown in. Writing style needs work.( A lot of He said, she saids, and he thought, she thoughts). Took me over a week to get through (usual reading time for a book this short is about a day and a half).
For a book you don't have to pay for, it's alright, but don't waste any money on it. Even better, try and get it as part of a deal, so you don't waste a credit either.
