A different take on the world of Mormons and those who believe in polygamy. The Mormon family centers on a man who has broken away from the group and is trying to rule his home and his family; with many wives and children depending on him, he must try to provide for their basic needs. At the same time a man is trying to purchase the surrounding land to this Mormon family and ends up with some interesting encounters with them.

This is a wonderful blend of realities. Well-established land developer comes across the strict community of a Mormon community that upholds the right to multi-marry.
I totally enjoyed this book. I find it so hard to believe people in today's world believe in polygamy and all that it entails. What a wake up call to realize how lucky most of us have escaped that kind of thinking and living. A very good read even though it was very disturbing..
