Rating this romance novel a 3 out of 5 stars. It's the story of two sisters and a secret each has hid from the other. When teenagers, their Mother left home. The youngest at age 15 was sent to boarding school as their father and the oldest sister was afraid she would get in trouble. After she went to college, she lived with their mother unknown to the father and older sister. She always thought it was totally her father's decision to send her away.
She returns home to hopefully rekindle a high school romance. She, her sister, and father do find their way back to each other but not with any help from a surprise visit from the Mother.
The younger sister Olivia does find her romance but not with whom she expected. Kelly, the oldest sister, finds hers as well as their Dad finds his romance. Three romances in one book and maybe a fourth as the mother leaves town with the youngest daughter's high school sweetheart.
I enjoyed the book except for the detailed make out encounters. Those I skimmed over as I enjoy reading romance novels but not their sexual encounters.
