This to me is the weakest of the books. The story was a little too disjointed and hard to fathom why Lois would put together certain incidents as being connected. That being said, I absolutely DETEST books that deal in any way with animal cruelty/torture, so this was definitely not my cup of tea.
Sixth book in the cozy mystery series starring small business owner Lois Meade of Long Farndon. When old but spy men go missing in the village, Lois asks why and uncovers a most convoluted crime.
Lois Meade and her cleaning business find secrets and danger again - a delightful series!
Another excellent who-done-it, cozy mystery by Ann Purser. Lois is once again the relunctant "ferreter" for Inspector Cowgill. Well, she's isn't relunctant to snoop, but she is reluctant to give Cowgill all the information as usual. And the search is on for another meeting place for the two! This time, Lois really has to convince Cowgill that a crime has been committed......Great read!
I loved this book, it kept me interested from page one. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes cozy, family friendly mysteries.
This is a pretty good book. It's about the Owner of a housecleaning company in an English village who fancies herself as a Private Detective. She works with one particular man in the police department, passing information on to him as she finds it. She finds herself in lots of trouble, but she loves doing the snooping. Her husband is not thrilled with it at all, mainly because of the trouble she gets herself into.
