This must-read series seems to end here. Yet another story that engages with warmth and wit. Her men and women are strong and loving. The plot interesting and well-developed.

Janet Chapman is a modern day Wizard herself. Time travel, magic, alpha males, with accents ( to us Americans ) and old world ways and ideas but somehow more aware of a modern woman's needs than a modern man. Throw in the occasional villain or mystical creature. Romance, hot steamy sex.. And you have the Pine Creek Highlander series.
The only thing wrong with these books is the highlanders get old to fast and the books are to few... I have never devoured a series so fast.

This series of Janet Chapman's books show a love of romance and the paranormal. It's well written and the twists and turns of the plot keep you guessing.
If you enjoy romance novels and paranormal novels then you will have the best of both worlds in this series.

I enjoyed this book, while it did feature a more 'macho' men in the storyline I thought the focus of family was something not often seen on this level in a romance. I plan on reading the whole series.
