Quinten was one of the more intriguing characters for me from the first novel, so I was rather excited to read his story at first.
I must admit that, though I did enjoy the novel, it was a bit dissappointing. It seemed like it took forever to get the main plot going then it ended suddenly.
Still a great read if you're into the Forsters.

Continues the sage of Touch of the Wolf and Once a Wolf. Deep in the hills of Napa Valley, Johanna Schell has founded a sancturary for those who know the pain of being "different", desperate, frightened people who souls are lost to grief...for lonely, tortured men like Quentin Foster.

Frightening spells of amnesia have plagued Quentin for years and Johnna wants only to ease his pain and get him past his delusional claim to werewolf blood. But under hypnosis, will she find a man or a beast and will she be able to trust either one.

This book contains a look at the early use of hypnosis in treating mental illnesses along with tension, passion and betrayal.
