I reread this after completing a jigsaw puzzle of Nancy Drew titles during the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised. I know I read some of these books as a child but wasn't sure how they would be with the passage of time. Nancy is a great female lead who can solve a mystery, change her own convertible car tire, fix a cranky boat engine, and provide practical care to an elderly woman. Are there a few more coincidences than we might believe about real life, sure, but it was a nice diversion for me.
