I only saw a few Twin Peaks episodes, but it seemed like my kind of wierdness so when I saw this I decided to pick it up. Interesting to read, but just like the show it will still have you wondering what's going on. So if you expect answers don't read it, but if you like the intregue and letting your imagination fill in the rest of the story then this is a great book for that.

If you loved the show, you must also read the "secret diary" of young, tragic Laura (devotees of the show will remember that this diary was found during the first season, but much of it was never revealed to the viewer). The book tracks the show perfectly and fills in many of the gaps that were necessarily left by the recounting of Laura's story through the voices of others.

Based upon the characters from David Lynch's "Twin Peaks" and written by his daughter Jennifer Lynch. A little peak into what the main character was thinking before her infamous death.

Creepy, disturbing and a little funny. Great companion to the show for fans.

I fell in love with Laura Palmer from the first time I watched Twin Peaks. As I watched more of the show, I found it so easy to relate to her and her situation and many questions arose in my mind. Even though I loved reading this book (though "love" really isn't the right term. It's a heart-wrenching experience to read this book), many of my questions were not answered. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic book and I am so glad it was written.
The diary really lets you into the mind of Laura Palmer and explains how she evolved into a willing participant of the twisted events that surrounded her. You also get too see the early origins of Bob. Definitely a must have for fans of Twin Peaks.

Laura Palmer was a homecoming queen whose psychiatrist was obsessed with her. The TV series Twin Peaks, season 1, explored the investigation of her murder. Who could forget the opening episode? A logger finds Laura's nude corpse wrapped in plastic on the banks of a river outside the town of Twin Peaks, Washington. In the style of a prequel, Laura's "Diary" is written by Jennifer Lynch, the daughter of the series' creator, David Lynch. Laura opens her heart to her diary - the reader begins the precarious adventure of putting together pieces of the mystery leading up to her murder.
