He was back...
Struggling single mom Grace O'Conner hadn't wanted Redstone security chief John Draven reentering her life amd reminding her of the past. But she had no choice -- the project she was supervising was being sabotaged, and someone wanted her dead. Once again, she needed Draven's help.
John Draven had saved Grace's life in an earthquake in Turkey. She was trapped under debris when the building was in danger of collapsing. Draven had to actually cut her foot off to get her out moments before the building came down which would have killed them both. He thought she hated him for what he had to do. Instead she had never forgotten him, scars and all.
Justine Davis usually writes with more emotion. This story was more plot-driven. Overall, it was a decent story but I wanted more emotion from the characters.
