I did not read this book at this time, as I have not read the beginning of the series. It is a New York Times bestseller which is the continuation of the story of Dan Levette. It is set in the time in history from the Depression years to the close of World War II.

Howard Fast is always a great read.
Wonderful! What can I say? It's a Howard Fast book and as far as I am concerned, his books are all top of the line reading!
