I did not read this book at this time, as I have not read the beginning of the series. It is a New York Times bestseller which is the continuation of the story of Dan Levette. It is set in the time in history from the Depression years to the close of World War II.
Love this book as well as the first in this series. I am now ordering the third book and expect it to be wonderful also!! Genny
