I tell you, if I was Brother Eadulf, I'd divorce Fidelma, as the mysteries she gets involved in bring him so close to death so many times---even in the same novel---eventually his luck has to run out.
This novel is once again concerned with adherents of the Old Faith ---in this case the Fellowship of the Raven---plotting to overthrow the New Faith. Plus, this group seems to have been connected to some events in previous novels. And, as with previous novels about this investigating couple, be careful who you trust.
