Ok of the three I've read (jemima j, Second Chance and Beach House) Beach House is by far the best. This book was solid but sometimes a little too slow for me.

so i read everything by jane green that i can get my hands on because her first book, jemima j is one of my favorite books. unfortunately after that, everything became very chick litty (lol) and a lot of fluff.
this new one was different though, and i liked it a ton. it's about a group of friends who knew each other growing up. it's been a good 15 years since they last saw each other, though each one of them remained in contact with one of the members, Tom.
Tom dies, and the group is reunited, and as they get to know each other again their lives all go dramatic changes.
it's still chick lit, but it has a bit more substance and it's not her typical book. i'm hoping that her latest book, the beach house, continues down this road.

Love Jane Green and how she draws you into her characters' lives. I didn't like this one as well as Beach House, but have experienced first hand how losing someone you love suddenly makes you re-evaluate where your life is headed and I could empathize with and relate to Holly very well.

I enjoyed reading this book....it is a quick read and it made me think of some of my best friends in high school, and even tho we do not communicate often, when we do it's like time never passed. Great book about friendships.
