Helpful Score: 1
This four-book set is a lot like Oke's Canadian West series: The first book is a great stand alone, but the three sequels seem a bit dry in comparison. The characters are lovable, and anyone who has read Oke's autobiography will notice some interesting parallels with her own life experiences.
