A story about a woman's search for the daughter she gave up for adoption, a search that takes her into her mother's past, and her own, as well, to find the answers she seeks. And a solution that is closer to she knows...
Very well written! Highly recommended! Each of book is better than the last!

This is an incredibly written, moving story. The characters come to life and the spiritual message is very meaningful.

Very good story. Characters really come to life and by 1/3 way through this book you feel as if you know each of them.
There are parts that come together in a way that doesn't quite seem plausable to me but then again it's just a novel and I'm no writer so I can't really criticize.

This is the first book I read by Linda Nichols. After reading it, I got all of her books, read them, and passed them on to my (adult) daughter.
This is not "light" Christian romance or what I call "Christian soap opera." It deals with some very heavy subjects. For young readers, you might want to preread it for mature content. The content is handled tastefully and well. However, some youngsters may not be ready to deal with the issues that are presented.

I absolutely loved this book. It is a keeper, even though I am busy passing it to all my friends. The character of Eden is wonderful, a quirky girl who is very real. Nichols gives her readers characters that are believeable, loveable, and REAL. Love this book and all Nichols other books. She is great.

The first half of this book has very long descriptions (wordy. Still glad I read it, the second half was worth it.

This book is a must read. Not usually the type of books I read, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. It starts out a little slow, but takes some unexpected turns. Once it gets going you can't put it down. Be sure to have tissues in hand when reading it.

This book was a quick read and very heart felt. It deals with some characters that are very flawed and that are having to deal with some deep emotional hurt. Yet in the end, I found that through all the pain, love is the best medicine.

A woman searches for the daughter she gave up for adoption years ago. Many twists and turns along the way. A very heartfelt novel.
Quick Read, could not put it down. It is a sentimental read and the characters, Miranda, Joseph, Eden and Ruth are real, everyday type people who are looking for things such as acceptance, love, and forgiveness.
I have discovered another favorite author!

Excellent read! You just have to love Eden. She is just the little busy body in town. Everyone knows and loves her. You have to wonder why Miranda's mother did what she did. Miranda had to really dig to be able to understand her mother and she had to have a really big heart to forgive her mother.
I agree with the previous reviewers of this book. It was a great book, very well written, well plotted out, and the characters were people you came to care about. It sucked me in from the first few pages and I completed it in just a few days (couldn't put it down). It was also the first book I'd read by Linda Nichols and won't be the last. This one is definitely going on my keeper shelf.
My first book by Linda Nichols and it won't be my last. A well written, engaging story that captivates you from the first page. The main story is about Eden, but there is a romance in here also. You will really enjoy this book.
I highly recommend this book. It reminded me that God works in mysterious ways. The characters are well developed and the storyline is compelling. A truly refreshing book!
This was a very well written captivating book. It held my attention through to the end. Although the storyline was somewhat predictable in parts, it was still very touching, heartfelt, and interesting.
A wonderful story of loss and redemption.

Interesting story about family, decisions and living with our choices. Good characters, very real misunderstandings, secrets and how they dealt with all of that. Making the connections and reading how it all played out was rewarding.

Wow. Linda Nichols got right into the souls of each character and made this book a reminder that we have our own downfalls, but when we hold to God he completes us.

The first book of Linda Nichols I have read but it won't be the last. The character's were real and flawed just like the rest of us. The spiritual message was simple but profound, of God's grace and forgiveness.
Very good book I couldn't put it down. It is one of my top 10!

What a wonderful, well-written poignant story about a "lost" woman searching for her adopted daughter! I could not put it down! The ending surprised me, but after thinking about it for a while, it really was the best solution for everyone. Miranda's journey into the past was a painful one, but it was necessary for her own rebirth.

Great book, I highly recommend it!
I love her style of writing! I can't wait to read more!
This is a good read - had me from page one and I didn't want to put it down. Very well written. It is not in the least predictable - well, except for that which is obvious from the beginning, but Nichols does a great job of developing characters and surprising her reader - just when you think it isn't possible to be surprised, she does it!
I recommend In Search of Eden and will be looking for other Linda Nichols' books to read.
