Prince Conn ap Llyr of the Merfolk is just doing what is necessary to save his people - up to and including coercion and kidnapping! Poor Lucy Hunter doesn't know what hit her. Her family has always kept her in the dark about their selkie heritage since she didn't show any signs of being selkie herself. When Conn seduces and abducts her, Lucy is stumped, amazed and disappointed in his high-handedness. Lucy has great trouble reconciling her life B.C. (before Conn) and after. All hell breaks loose (literally) when the demon Gau strikes at the Sanctuary (Conn's home).
A very romantic story with the requisite elements of danger and sex.

Of the three books in this series, this was my favorite. Lucy was a more believable character than the previous heroines. I actually found myself rooting for her at times. The series was actually pretty underwhelming for me. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the history of the selkies. I am glad I am done with it.
I am finding out to be a Children of the Elements novels. I already read most of these and love them.
Wasn't a bad book but I felt it wasn't quite as good as the others in the series. The storyline was a little off for me. I would read any others that come out in the series.
fast paced loved it!waiting for the next book.
Enjoyable end to the trilogy.
