I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't the type that you had to have your nose in all the time but when you did, you enjoyed it. It wasn't until the end that I couldn't put it down.
The story is about the future. A future where we do not die but can be reversed back to the age of 21 anytime you want. You can live many lives, have many children, accomplish everything you wanted to. The only problem with that is population control. That where Scythes come in. The are appointed to "glean" people. To glean is to kill permanently. The Scythes are under their own rules. They do not live extravagantly, the kill without bias and they are respectful to one's passing. But what happens when that ideal becomes corrupt. How do you fix it? It up to two amazing kids to do that but can they make it happen?
Wonderful books that makes you think. Great characters that you get attached to. Highly recommended.
