Lots of fun rotary-cut quilts. These aren't quickie quilts, most of the patterns are fairly complex and make heirloom quality quilts. It's a lovely book!

There are a few gorgeous quilts in this book (for example a kaleidoscope pattern done with plaids) but the book is mainly instructions for how to assemble blocks and not for how to select fabrics and compose a stunning scrap quilt. I don't know about "fast and fun" either; there are templates for all the pieces in the quilts--even the squares--no rotary cutting or speed piecing instructions here. Also, there are no unusual quilt blocks shown; your money would be better spent buying one of those thick books of "traditional quilt blocks."
