Well I just finished reading the second in the Crabtree Women series. I like this one even better then the first and I am looking forward to receiving the third book.
In this 2nd edition Sarah Crabtree is in love with her childhood friend Daniel but he only views her as a friend. Can she change his mind. Order this book and find out for yourself.
Fast paced read.

This lighthearted western historical romance tells the tale of brawny blacksmith Daniel McCabe, who finds himself in charge of his eastern nephew and decides to solve the problem by getting hitched to his sensible schoolteacher pal, Sarah Crabtree. But Daniel gets more than he bargained for when Sarah decides to turn their convenient marriage into a real love match instead...no matter how creative she has to become to accomplish it! Original. Follow-up to The Matchmaker (September 2003)

Very cute story of two childhood friends, Daniel McCabe a man that loves women and could never settle for just one and Sarah Crabtree who has loved Daniel since she climbed trees with him. Now Daniel needs a wife to clean his house, cook his dinners and care for his nephew, Eli and the only person to fit the bill is Sarah. He will marry Sarah but he can't love her or bed her because you don't sleep with your friends. Sarah is determined to make Daniel fall in love with her and make a sweet family along with Eli. The things that Sarah does to make Daniel fall for her are a hoot, then in turn Daniel works to not fall into her trap!

This is the second in her trilogy set in the Arizona territories, involving the Crabtree sisters, and the men they love. Sarah is the towns school marm, and has been in love with Daniel McCabe since she was a young girl. Daniel loves women, all kinds of women, but never wants to settle only for one. When Daniel suddenly finds himself saddled with his young nephew he realizes he can not do this on his own, and needs a wife, and who better to ask than his great long time friend, Sarah Crabtree. She won't try to change him, and life will continue just as he likes it with the added benefit of a wife who will fix him dinner, and take care of his nephew, and not expect him to be any more than her friend. Boy, does he have a lot to learn.
