"A Scoundrel of Consequence"
by Helen Dickson (2007)
What started out as a wager to seduce an innocent turned quickly into respect for a lovely young woman , and then love for her. William Lanpard who was a distinguished military captain and rake and now the new Earl of Carlow was totally infatuated with the spirited young Cassandra Greenwood. What a chase she would cause him!
I was thoroughly impressed with how Helen Dickson showed his character to be gentlemanly and respectful but also included kisses and romance. Her love scenes were tastefully done and without going into detail but left you feeling the love shared by the couple.
