I send a lot of books to soldiers overseas.  Many of the ask for science fiction books.  I work on collecting series, but often times I don't have a complete series ready to send.  I would like suggestions of stand alone sci fi books I could order to send when I don't have a series.  If you know some good sci fi books, please share the titles with me.  Especially if they are available on PBS.

Almost all of the Robert Heinlein books would meet your requirements. Plus he is a well respected author of sci-fi.

I just posted a book titled Europe in Autumn.  It is a great novel, not my usual genre.  My young friend tells me it is Cyper Punk.  Very great writing IMO.

Requested and mailed.

Childhood's End by Arthur C Clarke. One of the best novels I have ever read.

Would any of them be able tu use sci-fi recorded in MP-3 format? My brother gave me a bunch of them, mostly in a sub-genre called military sci-fi. Some don't have a record on PBS, others have 0 copies, 0 requestors. I'm not sure about loading them on my Bookshelf.

My friend has written a sci/fi fantasy book. It's available for free on Kindle. Check it out!
