These are all really good stories. "Prairie Schoolmarm" by JoAnn Grote and "School Bells and Wedding Bells" by Colleen Reece are my favorites.

This book was an easy read. I started it Friday evening and finished it Sunday afternoon. The story line in each of the four novellas was rather predictable, yet enjoyable. I liked the historical connections to each of the novellas. Being a teacher in a self-contained classroom, I can appreciate the time and dedication of these one-room schoolhouse teachers!
