Robert Parker writes characters who are witty, clever, and fallible. His lines are poignant at times and funny at times. Joe Mantegna brings them all to life with a voice of their own, perfect timing and emphasis. The book is so engrossing it is hard to turn off. The combination of Robert Parker and Joe Mantegna is pure entertainment. I love all of the books they've done together. Norma
Vintage Spenser with his regular cast of characters. Joe Mantagna's narration adds to the vibrant, look alive posture of the book.
Great story and the narrator makes it quite humerous.

Another Spenser fun mystery. The boys have another detective mission and purpose, of their sort. Relaxing and funny
Joe Mantegna (he's Rossi in Criminal Minds) is the best narrator ever for Robert B. Parker novels! This particular book is pretty good, per usual for Spencer books.
