Many nice scarf patterns from a number of designers. The variety of styles is great, making it a go to book when I need to find a gift for someone. The directions are well written, and the pictures are great.
The only problem you may find is that some yarns and/or colors are now discontinued. As long as you are comfortable switching out yarns, or asking the LYS for help, it is a great book.

The scarves and shawls in this book are simply gorgeous. I am actually working on one right now and it is deceptively simple. I want to learn to crochet just to make some of the other scarves in the book.
There are some great beginner patterns as well as the advanced patterns. I want to make just about all of them!
