There are 15 targets, the finest warriors in the world-commandos, spies, terrorists. And they must all be dead by 12 noon, today. The price on their heads: almost $20 million each.

ONE HERO
Among the names on the target list, one stands out. An enigmatic Marine named Shane Schofield, call-sign: SCARECROW.

NO LIMITS
And so Schofield is plunged into a headlong race around the world, pursued by a fearsome collection of international bounty hunters-including the 'Black Knight', a notoriously ruthless hunter who seems intent on eliminating only Schofield.

The race is on and the pace is frantic as Schofield fights for survival, in the process unveiling a vast international conspiracy and the terrible reason why he cannot, under any circumstances,
be allowed to live!

He led his men into hell in Ice Station.
He protected the President against all odds in Area 7.
This time it's different.
Because this time Scarecrow is the target.

Scarecrow is the third book in the Shane Schofield series. With new exotic locations and weaponry, plus a returning cast of old friends from the battlefield, Scarecrow is set to take the action/adventure world by storm, and leave readers gasping for air. With his trademark style, Matthew Reilly continues to establish himself as one of today's top thriller writers.

WARNING: Do not read this book during the week. You will be very tired the next day from lack of sleep and will not perform well at your job! This is a non-stop page turner that has become Reilly's signature delivery of entertaining action suspense.

Third book in Reilly's Scarecrow series. Just as good as ICE Station the first in the series. He has a nack for keeping you biting your nails. Non stop action.

I didn't like the way it ended, but it's still a good read.

Very exciting...non-stop action. There are 15 targets, the finest warriors in the world-commandos, spies, terrorists. And they all must be dead by 12 noon, today. The price on their heads is almost $20 million each. My husband says, "Don't start this one if you have to go to work the next day!"

This is the third book in the Shane Schofield series. This book was just as good as the first two books in the series.

I would suggest reading them in order the charcters really develope as the series goes on.

Reilly 2.0

This is a book that is almost ludicrous in its pace. I don't want to spoil things too much but

SEMI-SPOILER

when the author has the main character try to OUTRUN an INTERCONTINENTAL BALLISTIC MISSILE....well what more can be said.

Outstanding.

I like the character 'scarecrow' and I've liked the other books I've read BUT this one was just too much fighting going on nearly every page and it got very tiresome reading that, it had too many other 'agencies' with long long names or too many characters to track, I just had to give up on it as I just got tired of the tediousness of the fighting etc.

Really enjoyed this book about Shane Schofield. You will keep turning the pages. I also enjoyed the interview with Matt Reilly at the end of the book. This is well worth the read.

Absolutely edge of the seat, riveting read. Couldn't put it down.

Yet again, Shane "Scarecrow" Schofield is tasked with saving the world. But first he must save himself from a dozen bounty hunters.

Scarecrow embarks on yet another world-spanning, gun shooting, grenade throwing, bomb dropping, blood letting romp.

As usual, hs is saved repeatedly by luck, or fate, or Mr Reilly's vivid imagination.

As ridiculous as it may be I love thease books.

Action is a quite over the top and extremely fast paced. I like mine a little more realistic. If you like this author you will love this one
