The Good: The author gives a background for each recipe. The ingredients for each part of the recipe are separated, making it easy to figure out what goes in each step. The instructions for each part are detailed and easy to follow.

The Bad: Aside from the "Princess Cakes" there's no particularly special recipes in here. A lot of them are recipes that you could find in a lot of other books like cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, bundt cake, or Julekake (commonly called fruitcake).
