Woo-wee, that Martin is one mixed up bad boy! He and the long-suffering Sarah sent this reader on an emotional wild ride the likes not soon to be forgotten. Now, Martin may be a lover of women (and they for him) but he sure doesn't understand them, which causes all kinds of problems for him and his complicated relationship with Sarah. His situation is the typical repeating of childhood patterns, and while I loved learning his history, he was one frustrating guy. Like the others in the Outcasts series, Scandalous is another unusual adventure brimming with history and utterly fascinating despite the rushed ending. 4 stars.
