This is a Good book. In fact, it is a great book. I read this in no time at all becuase I simply couldn't put it down. (Trust me going to work with 1/2 sleep is not the best way to go, but so worth it.)

Baldacci is an excellent writer with the ability to get deep into the characters heads. You really get to know them. I felt like I was losing old friends when the book ended. So good!

Looks of twists and turns in this one.

Good book. Characters were believable, plot was engaging, and it kept me reading it way past bedtime. Baldacci makes sure you really get what happened at the end, so you aren't left feeling unsatisfied.

This is the first David Baldacci novel I read and I was hooked!! His stories keep you involved from the very first page and you don't want to put it down until the very last page.

This one involves a woman in protective custody and those who are trying to find her and those who are trying to save her. The ending is perfect....

A brilliant novel of genuine insight into the murky world of Washington powerbroking and covert espionage; A truly riveting thriller about a cash-for-questions scandal involving the highest ranking members of the US government. Washington lobbyist Danny Buchanan has made a fortune peddling influence for his cash-rich client companies, and now he's attempting to do the same for Third World countries and good causes. But no-one is listening - what's in it for them? So he bribes Washington politicians to take notice - until the CIA want in on the illegal strategy. Danny's partner, the tough-minded, independent and fiercely loyal Faith Lockhart senses it's all going to turn bad, so she tells all to the FBI in exchange for her and Danny's immunity. But she doesn't anticipate the ruthlessness of the CIA, a diminished and directionless organisation post-Cold War, who's head is a renegade obsessive and who is determined to take out Faith and anyone remotely connected to her...

Really enjoyed this book, and couldn't put it down with all the twists and turns it took. I thought the ending was a bit weak, though, which was disappointing to me given how good the rest of the book was. Another two pages would've made a big difference at the end.

The FBI thinks Faith Lockhart knows too much. Feared by some of the most powerful men in the word Faith has been targeted to die. Now Faith must flee for her life, her story, and her deadly secret, and with an unknown man she's forced to trust... A typical Baldacci novel. A very good read.

This book is another book where Baldacci has make the mystery had to solve, easy to read and nail biting the whole way through. The reasons why I felt this book was only good, and not great are these:
* The premise of the book, the reason why everything was going on, was hokey to me
* Several action events I didn't find plausible
* The ending was a complete disappointment
* Some of the characters just didn't seam real

The reading was good and the plot certainly kept things going. As usual, the plot was ramped up thru out the whole book, so I never really wanted to put it down. But, where there are a few things off, or you just don't believe the book "nectar" that the author is feeding you, then the book quality is diminished.

This would be a good book to read for summer reading or while relaxing at the beach.

Baldacci does an incredible job of introducing, building then engaging his characters in a story. This book is no exception; I read it in literally two days. Five hundred pages flew by in my haste to get to the next chapter. Fast paced and exciting. Kept me guessing who the mole was right till the end. Great read!

I keep reading Baldacci's books. They always hold my interest. Slow start, solid characters, the plot thickens and the suspense builds to the point that you can't put the book down. But the ending is always predictable and anticlimatic. I'm still waiting for the ending with a twist.

I've been hearing about David Baldacci's thrillers for a while and finally read my first one. I'm definitely going to get some other titles by this author, because SAVING FAITH definitely gave me a taste for more!

Feared by some of the most powerful men in the world, Faith has been targeted to die. But when a private investigator walks into the middle of the assassination attempt, the shotting suddenly goes wrong, and an FBI agent is killed.

Now Faith Lockhart must flee for her life---with her story, with her deadly secret, and with an unknown man she's forced to trust.

I've been a fan of Baldacci's for a few years and this book was another good one. I would have rated it excellent had it not been for a very weak ending. When I finished the last page, I double checked to make sure a few pages hadn't been torn out. Overall, though, it had great twists and turns and was a good read.

Sorry to say, the plot/premis of the book is believable and at times the story is well written and you want to read on ...... then you get to the dialoge exchanges between characters ... well lets just say it is drek and childish and a total turn off.
If you like Baldacci you probably will sttill like this book. I'll put out for swapping, but if it doesn't get requested I have no trouble passing on to Goodwill.

SAVING FAITH :
Saving Faith is one of the best books , I have read in my David Baldacci collection. The story has action. It grabs the reader's attention from the beginning of the story and it's just impossible to put down. I'm a avid reader and book collector. I have read hundreds of books in the years I've been collecting, and it has to be a really good story for me to stay up all night reading. I'm still reading at 5 am in the morning. This book did this to me.l stood up all night. I could not put this book down. At the end of the story I actually had tears in my eyes. The ending did that to me. Read Saving Faith today and you will see why.
